We have committed, as a faith family, to assisting families, specifically in the relocation process, who have suffered loss during the recent hurricane. HOW CAN I HELP? # 1 GIFT CARDS Our biggest need is for Gift Cards. Everything needed to run a home can be bought at the stores we have identified. We appreciate you purchasing the cards yourself and turning them in as soon as possible. Please make sure the dollar value of the card is clearly written on the card. #2 DONATIONS Donation of specific furniture, household goods, clothing. Our lists identify the specific items needed for our relocation homes. These items may be donated throughout the week. #3 FAMILY ADOPTION What better way to show your love and support for our relocation families than to adopt them for the week. During your week we ask you to call the family to introduce yourself and identify a day that you can bring by dinner for the family. We also encourage you to also bless the family with a gift card at that time. You can also do fun things such as take the family out to a movie, to a park or visit a museum. Anything to help them become more familiar with their new hometown would be greatly appreciated. Sign up Today! #4 TRANSPORTATION & JOBS Transportation and job placement assistance. Vehicles are needed and career counseling would also be beneficial to our families. Any assistance in these areas, please contact the church office.
