Ground Zero
Student Ministries

Led by Pastor Jimmy Lunsford
Building Lives From Ground Zero
"Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm" - 2 Timothy 2:19
Mission Statement
This student ministry exists to build young men and women from ground zero to God through intensive discipleship,
explosive worship, cell groups, and fellowship, while instilling a passion for reaching the lost.
Vision Statement
Specifically, we believe God has called "Ground Zero" student ministry to place leadership on the life of a young
person to better relate to their world. We plan to enrich their relationship with God by connecting them with cell groups, fellowship with other believers, evangelism, intensive discipleship,
and passionate worship. With these methods, we will prepare them for student leadership and other leadership roles within the church and the community.
Philosophy of Ministry
We intend for our students to grow by instilling the true Word of God through preaching and living in accordance with the teaching of the Word of God.
We intend to rebuild devastated students through relationships with other peers by placing them in cell groups, God's Word, and counsel.
We intend to offer the student opportunities of fellowship with other students through several activities throughout the year.
We intend to understand each individual student in our ministry. And intend to place him or her in proper leadership and ministry positions.
We intend not to neglect the importance of the family within and without our students' lives.
We intend to disciple every student who is willing to commit to our student ministry.
We intend to demonstrate zeal and passion with exciting praise and worship to God.
We intend to evangelize the community by developing strategic teams for witnessing.
We, as a student ministry, intend to raise the standard of living a Christian lifestyle for each student.
We intend to teach that obedience to God and His Word is more important than sacrifice.
